2002 Ford Focus Speed sensor light

I just replaced the transmission and now every time I drive the car over 70 the speed sensor light comes on. The mechanic replaced it 3 times but it still comes on. Any ideas of how to correct it?

There is no light called a "speed sensor" light. What light are you referring to?

It's a light that comes on and the mechanic said the code was the speed sensor.

Those lights can mean many things depending whether it's the Check engine or the ABS light. It would have set a specific code number and we would need that number to tell you what it means.
