Engine check light is on after engine went off at gear four. The engine vibrates now and I have detected one spark plug not working. When scanned with a scanner it reports a p0400 code and both cylinder 2&4 misfire. The noise fron the exhasut is also noticeable as compared to the usual silent nature. The engine is a z-tech

You already know you have a misfire on both 2 and 4. Now you have to determine the cause. First determine whether it;s lack of spark, lack of fuel or lack of compression causing it and then go from there.

Ohk so now we replaced all spark plugs but when number two cord is pulled out the engine does not change sound do anything. Unlike the other cords to different cylinders. Could it be a problem with the ignition coil?

With the new plugs the vibration or breathing sound of the engine has reduced but still exist.

You are going to have to use a spark tested to determine if those cylinders are delivering spark.

Thanks, after I changed my ignition coil together with the cables the problem is solved. Sound of engine is back to normal and no more vibrations but now ma exhaust looks dark (dirty). Guess after an oil change and some miles of driving will get back to normal
