2001 Ford Focus please help!

Ive been having problems out of my car, when I go to leave somewhere when I put it in reverse and hit the gas it goes nowhere, or dies. I have just had my oil changed yesterday and I had a tune-up today but something has helped, some people has said it sounds like the transmission, are they right?

Hi there,

This is sounding lie a transmission issue, I would go get a test and report on it, use a transmission specialist rather than a general mechanic for this work.
