2001 Ford Focus Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i was driving home yesterday and the back of my car was making a noise as if the tires were flat. The tires are fine. I stopped and looked found nothing flat or nothing dragging on the ground. Made the noise 2 times entire rest of way home. What could it be?

What is that? I was told it could possibly be the bearings? Are either one expensive to replace?
