1989 Ford F350 not smoking

My truck is a diesel but won't smoke from the exhaust I had a truck with a 6.9 and it was older but smoked more

No smoke is a good thing. 89 F-350 You have a 7.3 fuel injected I assume. That just means the timing on the injector pump is good, and your injectors are in good shape. You should have little to no smoke out of that engine.
