I was driving through a parking lot and the radio went off the battery light kept coming on and then the truck stalled. I jump started it and started driving down the road and it stalled again and I repeated the process. I know its not the original battery but dont know how old the current one is. What would make it do this?

You need to test your charging system, alternator. Belt, regulator, fuses ect. System should be checked with fully charged battery, should be12.6 volts and charging system should produce around 13.9 volts. Hth jeff
