The ABS light just came on and will not go out

Hello, and thank you for your help. The abs light just came on and will not go out. Also, the off light on the shifting column for the overdrive is blinking all the time. The engine is the 7.3 deisel. Can you tell me how to repair the problem? Thank you

Those lights being on indicate that the computer has sensed a malfunction and stored a trouble code. Reading the codes is the proper way to approach this but judging by the symptoms, you likely have a bad speed sensor in the top of the differential.

Yes, it's very simple, just held in by one bolt.
