Electrical problem
2004 Ford F150 V8 Two Wheel Drive 56,000 miles

When I turn the key, I get one click and then nothing. It doesnot happen every time and once it finnaly starts, I can start it several times after without any problem. The truck sits for days at a time and then sometimes will repeat the issue and sometimes there is no sign of a problem.

I have had F-150 trucks forever and have replaced solenoids before but this one does not appear to have one. Is there a relay or other electronic device I should be looking for?

Please point me in the right direction as I start to look into this issue.

Thanks,

Bill
