2001 Ford F-150 Gauges

Why are the gauges in my truck going crazy. The ABS and Brake lights are on. All the gauges just keep going up and down. They are not working correctly. If you are just coasting they will work correctly. Please Help

Check all the wiring especially the ground from the body to the engine and the one from the battery to the engine. Sounds like there is a loose wire that sometimes works and not at other times. Giving inacurate readings.
