You need to scan it to get the code(s) that are keeping the abs light on, the lights, abs and brake, can signal different issues. The abs light should certainly have a code, the brake light could be a couple of different things, something as simple as the parking brake switch.

I had the same problem with my 96 F150 does cruise control work?
Mine came on and cruise control wouldn't work either. Mine was one that was on recall for the speed control sensor.
If speed control sensor is shorted out (this is the recall that will cause them to catch fire mine did that but I was lucky I was in when it happened) it will cause all this too.

Mine did too but we unplugged it. They replaced it and had to replace the wiring too as it burned. Went to dealer and they put it on a machine. Found out it was the rabs valve gone bad and that shorted out the rabs module. But they want 1000.00 to fix. Which I don't have right now. Is it dangerous to drive it like it is?
