I have a 2001 F150 SuperCrew. Mostly it's been a good truck except for replacing coils every time it pours cat and dogs. My current problem is it runs OK under light acceleration or heavy acceleration, but just normal acceleration and it hesitates and bucks. When it does that I let up on the pedal and it goes away. I know it sounds like a fuel pump problem but could it be anything else? And is replacing a fuel pump on this truck something I can do at home?

Thanks

I would Check TPS throttle position sensor on throttle body see if there is a dead spot in the arm swing.
