I want to replace the cluster with one with low miles because I replaced the engine. The new cluster have less miles than the original miles, will the information in the cluster stay or once installed will change the miles displayed?

Hello,

The mileage display stays with the odometer. So, it will display what is on the cluster.

However, it is a Federal Law that the correct mileage must be displayed on the odometer, not what the engine might have.
So, if you change the gauge cluster it will need to display the mileage on the vehicle and not the engine.

In order to have the correct mileage the cluster needs to be flushed by the dealer to match the original mileage on the replacement odometer. And they will need both the new and old cluster to complete this task.
This will allow the change to be recorded.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
