I have been told upper and lower ball joints need repair. It steers okay, doesn't drift, brakes fine, wheels are wearing even. Question, Assuming ball joints are worn or a little bit loose, how dangerous is it to keep driving and put off repair for another 2,000 miles? Or,, will it just wear tires premature?
The truck is old and I am resistant to spending $800 on it to fix something I can get by with until I replace the vehicle.
