Over the last few weeks, my 97 F150 has began to stutter an hesitate. At first, it only happen while on the highway going about 65-70 mph driving on an incline. This has progressively gotten worse and now does it all the time, even while idling. Any ideas?

Yes, check eng light changes from solid to sometimes flashing. Havent changed plugs/wires since I've owned it. Has backfired twice. No fuel smell.

I added a post last week about my truck. It did the same thing. Except I would hear a clicking noise under the dash before the light flashed. Then the truck would shudder up an incline. Are your dash indicator lights having any problems? Like your airbag lite or any other indicator lite besides the check engine lite flashing? I read my codes and I have a misfire on cylinder 6 (p0306).
