My truck's engine makes a pinging sound when I accelerate. I cleand the maf and it did it a little less. I started using 89 octaine gas and it still doese it. I have notice that it does it more when the weather is cold. Can you help me fix this problem.

Check the pcv valve for proper workings and replace if possoble they r only 3.00 @ part store but first open hood rev engine nd see if it;s comingfrom the pcv located on the left or right valve cover
