the dome light stays on after I remove the key and close the door where is the switch that controls this? Is this the same switch that controls the "door open" display also? Thx

If your door ajar light is on, on the dash, and your dome lamp is on, but the door is closed you have a faulty switch on your door jamb. It looks like a little black rubber nob, or if it's worn through a little white pin. Push it in with the door open and see if the lights go out. If not replace it.
