1997 Ford F-150 windows

I have this really odd problem. Periodically my window just goes down and I can push it up but when I try to push it down it doesn't go down. The windows are electric the locks work fine. It is only the driver side window.

It sounds like you either have a bad switch or a broken wire. Check for a break in the wiring in the door jamb where the wiring is covered by a rubber boot. Also, when it doesn't go down, you need to remove the door panel and see if power is making it to the motor.
