Alright, I thought it might but wasn't sure if it would have that much of an effect. Thanks for the help!

Engine Performance problem

The O2 sensor keeps failing and I've replaced it 4 times in the last 3 months. What else can cause the Os sensor to fail. Need your help
Thanks

Bad parts. Wrong sensor. Sensor harness damaged.

Or most likely you have a intake manifold leak or a leak on the headgasket or a cracked head or block. If the antifreeze is burnt off it collects on the o2 sensors and damges them.

It can be installed without it but it wont last anymore then a few minutes,

the temperatures are too high and trying to glue it or tape it or rivot it on will not provide a strong, exhaust leak free seal. It has to be airtight or the sensors will not function properly at all.

Alright my head gasket went out so I replaced that and while the exhaust manifolds were off I decided to put headers on I cant route the exhaust back to put an o2 sensor between them so I put it in one my truck runs but not nicely. Is there any way to hook an o2 sensor into each pipe and splice the wires to feed into one plug in? Or is there another option besides an o2 sensor elminator? Idont have very much money so I cant give a donation. Alright I tried re torqueing the head bolts and managed to snap one can and will my engine run with one bolt missing the threads are 3/4 the way in and no coolant came poring out

Look how its hooked up first off the pipes you cut off.

Did you put duals on from a single exhaust or just put headers on?

The headers didnt move where the o2 sensor was did it?

Make sure everything was hooked up right and tight, and new gaskets were used and new donuts between the pipes were used.

If those are all good

i would suspect a error with changing the head gaskets.

I have a 1991 Ford F150. It started dying on me when I would stop at lights or for turns. After a couple of weeks of this the engine light came on and I had it tested and was told the O2 senor was making engine light come on. Would the O2 senor cause the problem I was having?

The 02's could cause a stalling problem. But I could be of a lot more help to you if you post the code or codes and engine size. Then I could give you a much better reply.

Code 41 is basicaly a " blanket code" it is a fuel control code and could signify a rich on lean condition, depending on whether you scan it koer, or koeo, which just mean key on engine off or key on engine running. It could be caused by an o2, or the map sensor or the fuel pressure regulator, ect. Your best bet would be to have it diagnose at a competent shop. It cost to much to guess at it.

Electrical problem
1990 Ford F150 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

My fuel pump runs, my ignition is sparking, but it seems as though the injectors aren't working once I crank the engine. I can hear them click, when I first turn my toggle switch on, and when I first crank it it hits like it wants to start, but won't unless I turn the switch off and back on, and it just hits again but won't start. New fuel filter, distributor, coil, stator, plug wires, and fuel pump, also O2 sensor. Ignition system completely redone, and mostly all new fuel system, except injectors, and computer.
