What is the easiest yet proper way to change front coil springs?

Jack up and support vehicle. Next step is take off tire. From there disconnect the schock on one end so the axle can move. Next lower axle till pressure is off spring and loosen upper retaining clip. Then let axle down all the way. Next remove the nut on the lower retainer nut and the spring shoudl come right out.

Installation is opposite of reverse.
