1994 Ford F-150 Exhaust

There are leaks at the "Y"pipe connected to the manifold, and leak at the catalytic converter, as well as 2 hangers needing replacement. The rest of the exhaust system is ok... How much should I be charged for parts and labor? I was quoted $700.00+ by Meineke... I think it may be more, due to "surprise" necessary catalytic converter replacement. Being female, I am suspicious that I may be charged more...
