1993 Ford F150 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

the shock/coil spring tower on my dads f150 is rotten and he has parked it till we can fix it. I have replaced coil springs before but never removed the tower that they are mounted to like the twin I-beam on this truck. Any tips or suggestions would be a great help, thank you

Are you able to even get the parts? How badly rusted is it?

Yes, was able to pick parts up at local salvage yard. Its so rusty that the tower is broken
