1993 Ford F-150 Exhaust

There is a tube thing conected to the catylitic converter. It has come unhooked. I didnt know at first but the truck started running bad. What is this and will it cause the truck to run bad.

This is the air tube. It connects to the air pump, used to pump air into the converter to aid in complete burning of the fuel. It is now the 02 sensor, is reading the engine as too rich, so it's cutting fuel! Get it reattached!
