My '92 F150, 5.8L has been rebuilt (before 200,000) in addition to a Hypertech E4OD transmission being installed. Have recently replaced EGR, IACV, TPS sensors and before that it was idling very high. Now the oil gauge reads near zero, yet the dipstick shows it's full. What gives -?

Idle problem: Clean ou the idle air control valve and see what happens.

Oil pressure: check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge if normal replace the oil pressure switch abnormal could mean oil pump and engine bearings
