1990 Ford F-150 starter

When I started my truck it kept wantting to keep starting after cutting my ignltion off, and it even kept doing it why the motor was runing, and when I got out and pop the hood there was a pop then everything went dead, I put a new sloenoid on and I have power but it still want start it mak'e a clicking noise. Did you check the voltage circuits at the relay? The voltage to the switch side of relay is hot all the time. The voltage to the coil side of relay, comes from the ignition switch through the neutral switch. If all that checks out, you may need to remove starter, take a look.
