The truck was having trouble starting so I thought it might be the solenoid. I replaced it with a new one but it didn't work at all. In fact the truck wont start at all it won't make a single sound. I put the old solenoid back in but it still won't start. The battery should not be dead it's not very old. It could be a problem with a cable or I could have hooked up the solenoid wrong. I'm just not sure whats up. Any suggestions you might have would be great.

If it clicks and does nothing, try a jump start, its either the Battery, or the battery cables.

I got the battery checked and it was fine and we replaced the terminal heads and cables. It still won't start. There is absolutely no power getting to the truck at all. When I open the door the "open door" light won't turn on. So I don't know what else to do.

At the solinoid, check the fusible links, those are the smaller hot wires on the battery side of it, if OK check the main fuse, its on the power distribution box, where the cable from the alternator attaches.
