1990 Ford F-150 noise coming from the rear of the truck

I am hearing a noise coming from the rear of my truck when I accelerate and decelerate and when im reverse but it doesnt happen when I put it in nuetral and rev the engine the cheicle is a 1990 ford f150 manual trnasmisson, I have looked at other sites and cannot find out the problem please help.

Hi:
Either you have a bad pinion bearing or output shaft bearing in the tail housing of the transmission. With no pressure on the drive line, check for play at both ends of the driveshaft.
