We need to know how to check the engine codes.

First you will need a test light and a paper clip. Connect the test light between the possitive battery post and the term shown in the pic (they are using a digital volt meter). Then use the paper clip to jump between the signal return term and the STI pigtail in the pic. Use the upper pic for reference. Now with that done turn the key on engine off and count the blinks. They will be like 1 short pause then 2 and longer pause this is code 12. So for a code 32 it would be 3 blinks short pause and 2 blinks and longer pause. Now when you get the codes get back to me with them and I will look them up for you if needed. After you are done getting the codes to clear them simply remove the possitive battery cable and then turn the the headlights on and off (this will make sure there is no residual power) and reconnect the cable.
