93 Ford trans problems

I have a 93 Ford Explorer (Eddie Bauer edition). I just changed the front and rear seal in the tranmission. When I crank it up in park it jumps forward and now my reverse gear is not working. Can anyone tell me what is wrong and how to fix it? All of the forward gears work. It has a automatic oeverdrive trans model A409.

Either your reverse band has broke and you need to have it rebuilt. Or the rear seal you replaced was bad when you got it. Then again check your fluid first befor doing anything else.
