When decillerating from about 40 or 50 MPH I hear a thumping sound and maybe wheel bounce from front end. It sounds like a rotational frequency noise.
It seems to get worse after the car warms up. I also notice this problem if I shift the car into neutral at these speeds
to try to disengage the powertrain.
It does not happen when I accelerate. Can anyone give me advise?

Check tires to make sure there are no shifted belts. Also, does the sound change when making turns?

The sound does not change when turning. As I stated, it even make the thump noice, and feels like a bubble in a tire, when I shift to neutral. Does the powertrain disengage when I go to neutral at 45 MPH? I cannot see a blemish in the tire.
