2004 Ford Explorer

Ignition key will not turn to start position.
tried moving steering wheel left and right. Wheels are straight. Key goes into key goes into slot normally but will not turn.

If the key won't turn at all, there is a problem with the tumbler. Try a different key. IF that doesn't work, try to lubericate the tumbler with a penetrating oil. If that still doesn't work, chances are the tumbler will need replaced.
