2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. When I attempt to start my truck it will just crank unless I press the gas pedal and then it starts right up. It will only stay running if I keep pressure on the pedal. If I let off it dies, after apply gas for a bit sometimes it will idle fine on its own, or once I drive it a while it will come out of it. I have had a mechanic look at it, but of course it did not do it for him. I have replaced the fuel filter, but no luck. Any help is much appreciated. This same problem showed up last year in the winter, but I fought through it. Did not seem to have any problem during the summer months.
