Steering is about 2 degres to the right. After the front wheel aligment has been done they tell me that all I need is new front wheel and my steering wheel will be straight

Are you refering to the steering wheel being off center when you drive straight down the road? If so, what they told you is not true. When the alignment is done, they need to lock the steering wheel in the center position. From there, they need to adjust the (Tow-in/out) to that when it is within spec, the steering wheel is still pointing straight. The wheels have nothing to do with steering wheel positioning, it's all done at the tie rods.

Let me know if this helps, and thanks for using 2carpros. Com.
