Ok am new to this, and I am a female who knows nothing about cars, which brings me here. So here is my?
two days ago my suv engine light came on I ddin't think anything about it, but I was concern today 07/03/07 after work when I went to leave my car wouldn't go into gear so I started to panic since I have put so much money into that thing, anyway I then tried again and it went in so I got home when I got home I tried a few more times and it work, so then I tried once more and now it won't do anything, and yes I did have someone check my tranny fluid, I am not mechanically inclined at all and at the time single, so if there is anyone who could tell me what is wrong please do. And maybe how much I may be looking at

Have a friend stand in back of the truck and see if you have brake lights. If not replace or adjust stop light switch. Get the code read at autozone, they do it free. Then post the code!
