I noticed the other day my temp. Indicator was cycling from about mid way (norm temp) to above the little thermometer below the needle (still within normal limits (WNL)) when the RPM's were increased and the engine was under load Ie. Up a hill, and back to the normal (usual) position under normal driving conditions. It has done it ever since and it cycles quickly both ways. As soon as it is under load. UP above the thermometer but still WNL. Drive normal. DOWN and WNL. The radiator and thermostat were replaced less than a year ago. The coolant is full and pretty new. Any suggestions?

1996 and it has 150K on it. I also noticed as the temp needle falls the temp from the heater goes cold. As the temp needle goes up the heat comes back. WT hell? It's actually comical if it wasn't my car.
