1994 Ford Explorer door locks

My lock and unlock buttons dont work, and either do the wirles ones. They just randomly stopped working. The lock button does nothing, but when I hit the unlock button, my lights come on. Whats the problem?

If the lights come on when you hit unlock, I have to ask if the vehicle has a factory security system. If it does, I feel the problem lies there.

It does have a security system. I still dont see why all my lock and unlock bottons dont work.
