2002 Ford Expedition heater problems

The heater only blows warm air once in a while the temp gets to normal but does not overheat or blow warm air all the time. Have checked antifreeze it is not low. Any help would be great. Thanks

I am looking on the fourm and there are others including myself with this same problem. I did see something about the tempture control value? Not sure if this is your problem.
Does you engine temp run hot or cold? If cold, it could be the thermastat

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
