1 month after doing an oil change on my truck, the oil is marking way under the line where its supposed to be. My dad thinks that the oil is getting burned down because there is no leaks and the truck has never has had any oil leaks but he thinks the engine or something needs to be tightened up because there might be sparks/flame jumping to the oil causing it to burn off. Is this possible? What seems to be the problem here?

Any blueish smoke comming from the tailpipe? Valve seals can be a problem. You didn't say how many miles are on the engine?

It has 95,100 miles. Blue smoke from tailpipe only happens about 3 times in a year.

What I would like you to do, is warm the engine to operating temp. Then raise the RPM to 3000, for about 2-3 minutes, any smoke now? No engine shokes only 2 or 3 times a year! They do not have smoking holidays.
