1998 Ford Expedition no heat

I have an 1998 ford expidition. I just repaced heater core and I still dont have heat and when I run the heater the temp gage reads hot and the oil lite come on. When I turn the off the heater the temp gage goes to normal.

Run the self diagnostic test on it by turning the key to on, then press off and floor at the same time, then within 2 secs, press auto, If there is a problem a trouble code will appear on the display. To exit self test, press the BLUE, cooler button this also retains error codes, To erase code and exit, press defrost, choose one of these before you power down the system. Post any codes recorded here and I will give you the problem! It sounds like you will see an 024 and or 025.

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
