A few months ago my radiator blew up and I replaced it. After I got my truck back it was making a weird hissing noise. A few days later it started to idle hard and shake when I went faster then 40mph. Now it is starting to overheat when ever I go up a hill. It never reaches "the red zone" but as soon as I'm over the hill it goes back down to normal. Also, when I turn my heater on and I'm stopped at a light the truck sounds like its going to die, but I quickly turn the heater off and it just goes back to idling hard.

Ok, first check the radiator to make sure there is enough coolant, if not fill with 50/50 diluted antifreeze/coolant. Have someone help you with that if you dont know how, because the engine should be running after you take the cap off and fill and it will go down then you fill again and keep doing it until it wont go down anymore, then the radiator cap goes on immediately.
