Wont start

97 ford escort replaced a gasket around fuel pump. After I put pump back in it wont start I checked the fuel going to the filter and got fuel in and out of the filter then I checked the fuel in the end of the rod going through the injectors fuel came out there. I checked the fire from the plug wires and got fire. I replaced the pick up coil. And the fuel reset button in the trunk. It will turn over and try to catch but wont start

You may get fuel all day long BUT without the proper pressure it will not start. Have the pressure tested. Even though you replaced the pump you cant assume its working properly. It happens!
