I have a 1999 ford escort zx2
it has129000 thousand miles on it.
the engine size is a 2.1
i have a service engine light that keeps coming on and the engine jerks when I take off
i have had the speed sensor replaced twice and I still have the same problem the mechanic cant find the problem he said it maybe the transmision help.

Did you have that mechanic pull the codes for you? If not go to an autozone or checkers if available and have them pull them for free. Then let us know what they are.
