Hi all I have a 1983 ford escort 16 rsi the car had been standing for 2 years I put in some fresh fuel and got it running I left it running for about 20 mins and them it conked out and eill not start again I cant hear the fuel pump when I turn on the ignition and there is no spark either any help would be great alsoanyone know where the fuel pump relay is and what it looks like many thanks deano2k

I realize this is an old post. In the future hope you don't have any vehicle issues, but, if you do keep the site in mind, they are always working to improve the site.

I'd want to check primary voltage to the coil +, goes hot with the key on. Also, some fords have had trouble with TFI module.
