Electrical Problems?

I own a 1998 ford Escort SE. The engine was replaced last year by a 48000 mile engine but the car has a total of 128000 miles. As of latly it has been running great but yesterday afternoon the car wouldnt start for about 10minutes. The car would turn over but the electronics and such were weak so I tought it was a battery. After It started I took it to get tested. They said the battery was fine and that it might have to do with corrosion on the battery connections. When we got home however the car would not start again. There is a clicking coming from around the battery area. The electronics are weak as well.

The electronics are weak as well. If this was the case then you have either a bad battery or alternator.

Why don't you do this, when it refuses to start check for spark and fuel then comeback.
