I was driving down a dirt road doing about 30 when I saw a cinder block in the middle of it, I slammed on the brakes and just missed it when I went to go again my car stalled. Now it wont idle at all, it will start up but imediatly die unless I get the rpm's over the one mark. PLEASE HELP.

Did you figure out what was wrong with your car. My 1999 Escort is pretty much doing the same thing and we can't figure it out. Thanks.

It was that my car was over heating so much that it melted a rubber elbo piece right in front of the engine. I replaced it with a spark plug end. The rubber and with that it runs just fine. Hope that helps.
