I just got back from a long drive when my car started to overheat. I changed the thermostat and it seemed to do the trick. Now just a few hours later, my car is starting to kill when I slow down to a close stop. Any suggestions as to what is wrong?

Recheck your work
make sure all connected back
check for vacuum leaks
clean and check idle air control valve
check for codes if possible
did u had to disconnect the battery and if so pcm need to relearn idle position

need manual CHECK IT @
