Engine Mechanical problem
1998 Ford Escort 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 140xxx miles

My 98 ford escort has a 2.0 sohc engine and it broke its timing belt. I have since replaced the belt and it will still not run. I was told by 2 people that it was an interferance engine and that it was not an interferance engine. I'm 100% shure that my TDC marks on the crank and cam shafts where at TDC and I even rotated them and checked them again. And all was well, however It still will not run. The plugs, wires, and coil all apear to be in good shape.

Please Help

Hi, it means it is out of time. Or if it is not out of time, then you have bent valves
