I cannot remove the disk rotors to replace them. Does my car require that I remove the large wheel bearing nut first? Icould swear I replaced them a few years ago and never had to remove the large wheel nut.
if they come off qithout removing the nut what do I use to loosen the rotors, can I use a heat torch?

Don't need to remove the axle nut. The rotor is simply "frozen" from rust and other road contaminants. Go to your local parts store and ask for PB Blaster. Spray it on the lug bolts and axle nut.
Wait 5 minutes, and then tap the rotor with a rubber mallet. It will come out.
