1998 Ford Escort Erratic Oxygen Sensor Reading

Hello, I have a 1998 Ford Escort 2.0 L SOHC with 156,000 miles. The problem I am having is that the car stutters/misses while driving. There is no idle or acceleration problems. The dealer said the updraft oxygen senor had erratic readings so they replaced the senor. The car still does the same thing and the computer still gives the erratic o2 reading. Any ideas?

Best if you can provide the codes
have it scanned, most local part stores will scan it for free
chain stores will do it for free too ( auto zone )
