I have a ford escort and the fan inside will not work on the highest setting but it will strangely work on the first three settings. I have replaced the small fuse at the pig-tail but that didn't fix my problem. What should I do and How can I get what I need.

OK with the blower motor not working on only one speed then I would say check or replace the blower motor resistor. Here is a pic. This resistor controls the speeds.

I don't know where that is located. I have replaced a smaller resister but I don't think this is the same thing. So I am not sure exactly what that is and where I can get one.

OK the blower motor resistor will be on the heater/ac box not far from the blower motor. The pic I included is the exact one you should have so it should look just like it.
