my front n/s brake keeps locking up, advised it may be a faulty sensor can I disconnect the sensor to see if it is, will it affect the braking system if I do

If the sensor is faulty then its not working
I don't think by disconnecting it will do any thing
if you have an ABS issue a scanner will help
if the brake locking up check the caliper and hoses
